Rare set of two signed and numbered Dave Paulley Artist Proofs. Both proofs are numbered 04/80, a very limited run compared to Dave's other prints. Beautifully double-matted and framed, these pieces are a real treasure for enthusiasts of Western art and aviation alike. --- David G. Paulley was a painter and artist from Wyoming. Paulley served in the United States Navy during the Korean War and was honorably discharged in 1955. David worked as an aviation mechanic (ANE), dismantling wrecked planes, in Cheyenne and taught aviation lessons. During this time, he taught himself sculpture and painting techniques. In 1964, he sold enough art commissions and quit his aviation work to become a full-time artist. Paulley specialized in aviation art, but he was also known for his western art. His art was displayed all over the world and the United States, including the U.S. Naval Museum in Pensacola, Florida, an aviation series in the Honolulu International Airport, and the Wyoming paintings hanging at the Wyoming Capital in Cheyenne.
